Constituency Labour Party

Ruislip Northwood & Pinner Constituency Labour Party is made up of the local branches within the constituency boundaries.

Through  the Constituency Labour Party members and representatives of affiliated organisations can choose the people they want to represent the area at the Labour Party annual conference and help select candidates for European, Parliamentary and Greater London Authority  elections.

Branches

Within the constituency Labour Party activity is organised at a local (council ward) level by 6 branches:

  • Pinner & Hatch End
  • Eastcote & East Ruislip
  • West Ruislip
  • Harefield
  • Ickenham
  • Northwood & Northwood Hills

Candidates for local council elections are chosen by members at Branch meetings.

Get Involved

There are many ways for members to help make the Labour Party a vibrant and successful organisation in our area:  

Come along to meetings of your  branch and constituency Labour Party to help:

  • shape policy and strategy at local, regional and national level by taking part in the debate
  • select candidates for elections and conference delegates 

  • organise funding raising events and campaigns

Take part in social events - an opportunity to have fun in a relaxed social environment with other Labour Party members.

Help out with campaigns in a wide range of ways, including:

  • delivering campaign leaflets and posters
  • helping to produce and post mailings 
  • displaying posters
  • writing letters to the press
  • running street stalls\door to door canvassing 

  • helping to get the voters to polling stations on election days.

Get your family and friends to join up and join in by encouraging them to become Labour Party members.
